The Friends of the Governor Stone, Inc., is an organization dedicated to the restoration and preservation of the sailing vessel Governor Stone, a designated National Historic Landmark and registered Florida Antique Vessel. Built in 1877 in Pascagula, Mississippi, she is the very last of her kind. Learn more about the history of the Gulf Coast schooners, and how you can get involved to save the Governor Stone.
